Job Summary

Talent Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and performing vaginal deliveries.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and emotional states to develop effective care plans.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and their families on topics such as childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, with a focus on electronic fetal monitoring and circulate and FHM skills.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
