Job Summary:

AchieveKids is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality therapy services to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and document therapeutic plans of care
  • Meet with teachers to suggest modifications to adaptive equipment or activities
  • Liaise with students' families and other services to plan for transition
  • Observe, note, and report on progress of short and long-term treatment goals
  • Carry out clients' IEP goals and objectives in relevant training environments

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Assistant-level license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
  • One year experience as an OTA, preferably working with children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques in assessment and treatment of patient care and safety
  • Valid California Driver's License and Clean California DMV record required
  • TB Clearance and DOJ Background check clearance

Pay Range: $31.21 to $34.62 per hour

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, internal equity, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
