MDM Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MDM Specialist to join our team at The Timken Company. As a key member of our engineering operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient execution of our business operations.

• Support the development of engineering process objectives and strategies to accomplish business execution and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand how to execute their assigned sub-processes and provide training when necessary.
• Ensure process documentation, including training materials and work instructions, are up-to-date and users are adhering to defined processes.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of process improvement initiatives at the direction of the BPO-Engineering team.
• Support the collection and analysis of key process execution and adherence metrics.
• Interact with the NPM plant coordinators and other key subprocess leaders to discuss best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.

• 7+ years of related experience in business, engineering, or technology.
• Experience with SAP ECC and understanding of the implementation of new products within manufacturing.
• Skilled user of MS Excel and working knowledge of SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of NPM process and business knowledge of engineering functions such as product and tool design.
