Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Administer dialysis treatments and monitor patient status for changes in treatment parameters.
  • Document patient information on dialysis flow sheets and charts.
  • Provide ongoing support to RNs for care of primary patients, including completion of multidisciplinary forms, monitoring immunization and vascular access records, and performing quarterly medication reviews.
  • Demonstrate organizational ability and prioritize actions based on clinical staff and unit needs.
Requirements
  • One year of clinical experience, acute care preferred.
  • Strong customer service, computer, and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, kind, and patient-focused attitude.
Education and Certifications
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Physical Requirements

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
