We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma for life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their eligibility for plasma donation
- Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate donor compensation and provide excellent customer service
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes using company-approved procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 32 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is preferred
