Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Friends Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; running the billing; and auditing patient records.

This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.

You will need to be able to lift up to 20 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods of time, and walk to deliver medications several times daily within the campus.

This position has no regularly scheduled hours and will primarily cover weekend shifts and evening shifts as needed.

Friends Hospital is a leader in behavioral health care, offering a system of comprehensive programs and services to people suffering from behavioral and emotional health problems.

CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy.

This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • PALicensure/Registration/Certification requirements
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written
