Job Summary:
Vighter is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Addiction Medicine professional to join our team. As a Travel Nurse RN Addiction Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals struggling with addiction, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop effective treatment plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington or multistate for NLC eligible states and positions.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse (Alcohol and Addiction) in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), etc. certifications as needed per specialty.
