Key Responsibilities:
  • Excavate line and grade for mainline utility crews with precision and efficiency.
  • Safely excavate around existing utilities, ensuring minimal disruption to the environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of trench depth, shoring, rigging, and grade compaction techniques.
  • Perform routine inspections on equipment and report any defects or issues.
  • Safely operate other construction equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in mainline excavation, preferably with a strong understanding of excavation, trenching, and shoring practices.
  • OSHA certified competent person training is a plus.
