Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel therapist in Oak Lawn, Illinois. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
