Senior Software Developer for Advanced Synthetic Training Environment

Job Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Sr Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Next Generation Threat System (NGTS). As a key member of our NGTS development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for an advanced synthetic training environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software for an advanced synthetic training environment, integrated into flight simulators to support pilot training against potential threats.
  • Support software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations.
  • Evaluate and review C++ language code, programming using C++, Python 3, HTML, and developing parallel processes, threading, and process communication.
  • Develop web-based applications using development technology and collaborate with team members to design future enhancements.
  • Familiarity with time-series analysis is a plus.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as a Software Developer.
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with scripting, database, and programming languages such as C++.
  • Ability to communicate and present technical details both written and verbally.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
