Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nocturnist to join our expanding medical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing, advising, and mentoring residents within the departments of medicine and family practice.

Key Responsibilities:
The Nocturnist will deliver medical consultations as required for surgical and Ob/Gyn residents, while also providing emergency inpatient coverage for medical patients on the non-teaching medical and family practice service.

Work Schedule:
This role involves collaboration with two other Nocturnists during nighttime hours, with an average of five admissions per physician each night. The schedule is structured as 7 days on followed by 7 days off. Our Hospitalist group ensures continuous inpatient care around the clock, every day of the week.

Practice Focus:
The practice is exclusively dedicated to inpatient primary care services, covering both general floors and critical care areas.

Qualifications:

  • MD License is mandatory.
  • Board eligibility or certification is required, with a strong preference for Internal Medicine.
  • Prior experience in Family Practice with sufficient inpatient exposure to effectively fulfill essential duties.
  • Exceptional communication, critical care, and computer skills are essential.
