We are seeking a highly skilled Gardening Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing a range of tasks related to the care and maintenance of landscaped areas, including irrigation repair and maintenance, pest and weed control, tree maintenance, athletic turf maintenance, and maintenance of gardening power equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify and address maintenance needs
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Train and supervise student workers and seasonal employees in gardening and landscaping procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement landscape plans and designs

Requirements
- 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
- Valid pesticide application license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 50 pounds
