Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Autumn Leaves Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized housekeeping area.
• Assist with laundry and linen services.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
• Follow established infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with terminal cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged or transferred.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year's experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Hours as assigned by supervisor. Each shift comes with a half hour lunch break and an occasional night shift for cleaning and waxing hallways. Must be available for work seven days a week.
