Feather Falls Casino is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Financial Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial planning and reporting of the business entities, including preparation of current financial reports.
- Provide professional, strategic, managerial guidance and direction in the areas of Compliance, Purchasing, Accounting, Cash, Analytics, and Audit functions.
- Ensure the quality of management operations in all areas of the Finance Department and any operational areas assigned in the future.
- Establish, maintain, and manage all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.
- Be accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports; maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Ensure the integrity of all financial data produced by the department.
- Oversee the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the departmental internal and external review of the monthly financial statements.
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of all financial statements, budgets, and reporting.
- Prepare reporting information that will enable the General Manager to direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; confer with executive management and departmental heads as required.
- Responsible for financial compliance with all covenants, codes, and governing agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance mandatory. MBA highly preferred, CPA required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting/audit experience in a business enterprise with a minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience and/or equivalent (Controller or higher).
- Minimum 5 years of CASINO SPECIFIC accounting, audit work, and/or financial management required.
- Working knowledge of NIGC and all Federal and State regulations relating to gaming.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a Gaming License.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates for all positions must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Applicants must have a California I.D., a Social Security Card, and a Birth Certificate.
