Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skillset and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the physician, and updating patient records
  • Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
  • Valid CRT from the State of California with Fluoroscopy
  • ARRT in Radiology
Preferred Skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
