We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors, sorting donated materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Customer Service: Project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors, providing prompt and courteous service to ensure a positive experience.
• Donation Sorting: Sort donated materials as instructed, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment, promoting safe and efficient service to donors.
• Donation Acceptance: Accept donations from the general public, issuing receipts and providing information about Goodwill's mission.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Prior work experience in the service industry preferred, but not required.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Considerable physical exertion, exposure to unfit donated goods and materials. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation station with no prior notice.
