Job Summary:

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, positioning patients for examination, and ensuring the safety of patients during imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
  • Position patients for examination and ensure their safety during imaging procedures.
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document exam information and report important findings to physicians.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology (preferred).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice (required in CA and HI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
