Job Overview:

As a Pump Station Electrical Specialist at Powerserve Technologies, Inc., you will undertake skilled electrical tasks up to journeyman level under the guidance of the Lift Station Coordinator. Your responsibilities will encompass the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical systems, generators, pumps, controls, and associated equipment in accordance with industry standards.

Work Location: Collier County/Naples area of SW Florida

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, fixtures, transformers, and various equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers on the design of lift stations and citywide generator systems
  • Test and maintain electrical equipment; diagnose power outages and short circuits
  • Conduct data entry for operational times to ensure optimal pumping efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance and flow management at lift stations
  • Inspect, test, and repair alarms, switches, and sensors
  • Procure materials necessary for the upkeep of the sewer system
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of electrical trade practices, local and national codes, safety protocols, and potential hazards

Skills: Proficient in using tools and troubleshooting electrical systems

Ability: Capable of interpreting specifications, estimating job completion timelines, and determining required materials

Training and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Water and Sewer industry, including electrical work

Preferred Certifications:

Class 3-4 Operator Certification in Water Treatment, Production, Distribution, and Wastewater Collection

CDL Class A License
