Scout Solutions Inc. Defunct is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst - SIEM Expert to join our team in Leesburg, VA. The successful candidate will have experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), or Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT).

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $125,000.

About the Role:

This role involves providing SIEM engineering efforts and direct support to SOC operations. The successful candidate will serve as the lead for all Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) activities within the SOC.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of the SIEM and providing administrative oversight of the tool. This includes implementing solutions to enable or improve SOAR capabilities, revising and developing processes to strengthen current operational activities, and coordinating with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a master's degree is preferred.
