About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Muriale's Italian Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dining area and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans, and sort and polish silverware.
  • Sort and remove trash, and place it in designated containers.
  • Sweep and mop floors, and wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surface areas.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
  • Maintain temperature logs, and keep the walk-in cooler/freezer organized.
  • Help cooks properly prep, store, and date food.

Requirements:

  • Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred.
  • Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy (up to 45 lbs.).
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
