Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Riverview. This is a full-time, tele-based position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including vital sign collection, specimen collection, and basic care tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, specimen collection, and basic care tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Patient Care Technician program or equivalent medical background experience.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required within 60 days of employment.
