We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Nursing Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. This is a full-time position responsible for developing and delivering a forensic nurse examiner preceptorship program at our Forensic Nursing Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement SANE/SAFE educational programs to enhance the skills of our staff and new hires.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competency.
- Serve as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
- Utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Registered Nurse with a focus on forensic nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program and completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training.
- 3 years of clinical experience in forensic nursing.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
- A competitive salary of $57.44 per hour.
