Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Emergency Department will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care and education
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in unit-based council and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- One year of emergency department experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training within 90 days required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months required
