Job Title: General Manager/Assistant General Manager

Round One Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager/Assistant General Manager to lead our team and drive business growth.

Job Summary:

The General Manager/Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall success of our store, including sales, profits, staffing, image, and operations. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales and profit strategies to drive business growth
  • Lead and manage a team of department managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide operational and customer service training to store employees
  • Investigate employee issues and maintain confidential discussions
  • Hold weekly staff meetings to discuss and resolve operational and staffing issues
  • Ensure the store presents a pleasing image and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Prepare and submit reports to corporate, including daily sales, monthly sales, COGS, and labor control
  • Contribute to the development of resources that create timely and efficient store workflow
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of GM management experience in team building, sales development, and strong operational skills within a fast-casual theme concept
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills supported by a pleasant and positive attitude
  • Ability to gain, demonstrate, and coach with operation knowledge
  • Ability to plan activities, set goals, effectively manage time and work
Work Environment:

The General Manager/Assistant General Manager will work in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

The General Manager/Assistant General Manager will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
