The Oncology Infusion RN Team Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing nursing operations within the oncology unit. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of patient care and the ability to lead a team effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Team Supervisor, you will:
1. Report directly to the Clinical Manager, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology care standards and practices.
3. Serve as a mentor and educational resource for nursing staff, fostering professional development.
4. Ensure the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care throughout the unit's operational hours.
5. Act as a role model and leader, embodying the core values of LifeBridge Health.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients and their families.
7. Engage in direct patient care as necessary, demonstrating a commitment to quality service.
8. Promote a culture of teamwork and shared governance, embracing evidence-based practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in nursing, with prior leadership experience preferred.
- Certifications: CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider, OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse, ONS - Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification, RN - Registered Nurse.
