Description

We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse PRN to join our team at Park Central Surgical Center, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients postoperatively.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided.
  • Demonstrate proper airway management techniques and monitor patients according to policy.
  • Exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks.
  • Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system.
  • Check dressings and/or operative sites of patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon.
  • Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and families.
  • Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery.
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment.
  • BCLS Certification upon employment.
  • ACLS required within 30-days of hire.
  • PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire.
