Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Arizona.

Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in Cath Lab
  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications
  • AZ license or compact
Job Details
  • 3, 12 hour shifts 6 am-6:30 pm plus call
  • Call - varied 6 to 10 shifts per schedule
  • 30 minute response time required
  • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Cath Lab
  • # beds: 3 main and 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid
  • Cases: 10-25 cases per day, Circulating, no Scrub
  • EMR: Cerner and Xper
  • Charge Nurse: Yes
  • Nurse Aides: Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Cover Endo and CVOR.
  • Holidays: Work into rotation.
  • Scrub Color: Provided
  • Vents: NA
  • IV Team: No
  • RT 24/7: Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
  • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 6-630, M-F.
  • Call: 8-12 days a month depending on the month
  • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on job.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement.
