Position Overview:
Join our dedicated Respiratory Care team at Trinity Health, where we prioritize patient well-being and advanced respiratory treatments.

Role Responsibilities:
The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist will be accountable for delivering comprehensive respiratory services within the Respiratory Care Department.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing direct patient care across all age groups.
- Acting as a technical consultant to physicians and healthcare professionals regarding contemporary practices in respiratory care, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Educating patients and their families on disease management, smoking cessation, treatment methodologies, and the proper use of respiratory equipment.
- Setting up, operating, and overseeing patient care with respiratory apparatus such as mechanical ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, and High Flow Oxygen systems; managing patients on various invasive mechanical ventilation modes.
- Administering inhaled medications and conducting bronchopulmonary therapies.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program, with a minimum of an Associate's Degree.
- Possession of a current Respiratory Therapist License.
- Certification as a CRT or RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Position Highlights and Benefits:
- This overnight role operates from 7 PM to 7 AM, requiring 5 or 6 shifts within a two-week pay cycle.
- Involves working every third weekend, with applicable shift, weekend, and holiday differentials.
