At Preferred Pump & Equipment, we are seeking an experienced Local Flatbed Driver to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and can provide excellent customer service.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $16-$17 per hour, with an average of 40-50 hours worked per week. In addition to your hourly rate, you will also receive overtime pay at time and a half after 40 hours. A clean inspection bonus of $100 per clean inspection is also available.

You will be paid semi-monthly via direct deposit, ensuring that you receive your earnings on a regular basis.

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

As a local flatbed driver, you will have the opportunity to return home every night, enjoying a healthy work-life balance. Your schedule will consist of Monday through Friday, with potential half-day Saturdays. The average shift start time is 7am, providing you with plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

Equipment

You will be driving a reliable truck/trailer combination, equipped with an automatic transmission and dual-facing cameras. These features ensure a safe and comfortable driving experience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Age: You must be at least 21 years old to apply.
  • License: A valid chauffer's license or willingness to obtain one is required.
  • DUI/DWI History: You must not have any DUI/DWI convictions in the last five years.
  • Moving Violations: No more than two moving violations or preventable accidents in the last three years.
  • DOT Regulations: You must be knowledgeable of Department of Transportation regulations and meet all testing and physical requirements.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen: You must pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
  • Hiring Radius: You must live within 50 miles of Oklahoma City, OK or be willing to relocate for this position.
