Physical Plant Operations Manager

At Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Plant Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage building services, including maintenance, upkeep of the building, grounds, and parking areas, as well as renovation and remodeling projects.
- Perform building inspections and take proactive steps to ensure a safe and presentable work environment.
- Oversee safety and security issues, including fire, burglary, and building closure, and coordinate close circuit monitoring and access cards.
- Assist program managers in identifying maintenance issues, tracking routine maintenance, and coordinating repairs.
- Track and maintain facility fire and health inspections, and rectify or coordinate the repair of any deficiencies noted on inspections.
- Direct contractor activities for operating and maintaining facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience directly related to the essential functions of this position, with prior project management experience highly desired.
- Skills: Good analytical skills, ability to communicate well, ability to foster and work within participatory management, strong organizing and planning skills, and ability to interface effectively at all levels in the organization.
