Truck Driver

First Piedmont Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport containers to various disposal sites, customer job sites, and other locations.

• Transportation and Delivery: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport containers to various disposal sites, customer job sites, and other locations.
• Container Handling: Prepare, secure, and transport open top and compactor containers to various disposal sites and customer job sites.
• Route Management: Follow assigned routes and understand customer needs to ensure efficient and safe delivery of containers.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including FPC Safety Rules, OSHA, DOT, and local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Communication: Communicate with dispatch to improve route production and communicate the best way to perform duties.
• Customer Service: Ensure driveway entrances, mailboxes, or other traffic thruways are not blocked, and deliver and return containers to a customer's property in a position that ensures the safe and proper operation of the container.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Licenses and Certifications: Possess valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
• Skills: Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment, and demonstrate the ability to navigate driveways, alleyways, job sites, and traffic-filled roadways.
