We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Manager to join our team at ITW. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving accountability of our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Initiatives: Create and execute comprehensive EHS plans to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Liaise with Corporate EHS Team: Collaborate with the Corporate EHS Team to ensure consistency with Enterprise initiatives and policies.
  • Foster a Safety Culture: Encourage superior Safety Awareness and Environmental Stewardship through the implementation and support of safety & environmental management processes.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate any safety incidents, provide root cause analysis, and set plans to address improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Safety Committee: Lead and refine the safety committee, safety audit process, reporting, and develop action items to drive improved safety culture.
  • Develop Safety Trainings: Develop and lead factory safety trainings to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in Safety/Quality processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the clear and concise transfer of information with all levels of employees, both internally and externally.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, define, analyze, and prioritize opportunities and problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy and organization skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a combination of industrial plant floor and office environments. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, lifting 50 lbs, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and twisting to complete all job tasks. The ability to wear all required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel/composite toe safety shoes) is also required.
