Job Title: Tax Director

Marcum Search LLC, the National Recruiting Division of Marcum LLP, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our team. As a key member of our SALT practice, you will be responsible for delivering state and local tax compliance services to our corporate clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver state and local tax compliance services to corporate clients
  • Serve as the key point of contact for tax compliance and planning activities
  • Respond to IRS inquiries and consult on complex issues
  • Process accurate and timely returns and manage the workflow of staff
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification is required
  • Strong knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Compensation:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
