Cambrex is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Chemist II to join our team. As a key member of our analytical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, including EPA, FDA, cGMP, cGLP, and DEA guidelines, to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
- Analytical Expertise: Perform a wide range of chemical analyses, including raw materials, in-process, intermediates, finished goods, and stability testing, to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Instrumentation and Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of analytical instrumentation, including GC, HPLC, NMR, DSC, IC, and ICP-OES, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and test procedures, including controlled documents such as SOPs and test reports.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to colleagues as needed, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science field required; advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred.
- Experience: Three years of laboratory experience in a cGMP environment, with a strong background in analytical chemistry and instrumentation.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, analytical instrumentation, and chemistry theory; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
