Job Summary

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Cambridge HS provides high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering routine daily nursing care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in a private and respectful manner
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist with dressing wounds, inserting catheters, and collecting lab samples
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress notes
• Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse supervisor

Requirements

• Completion of LVN training from an accredited school or college
• Valid LVN license in good standing
• Valid CPR and BLS certification
• IV certification is a plus
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Proficiency in using computer or tablet to enter resident data
