Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seasonal Business Tax Specialist to join our team at Intuit. As a key member of our TurboTax Business team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers.

About the Role

  • Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
  • Prepare and file business and personal tax returns.
  • Utilize commercial tax preparation software to prepare federal and state business tax returns.
  • Provide tax advice, product/software inquiries, tax calculations, and filing tax extensions to customers.
  • Document customer interactions and work towards meeting company key performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting.
  • Commit to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week throughout the tax season.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
