About the Opportunity

Vail Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization/Special Procedures Lab. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and operate complex medical equipment, including x-ray cameras, procedure tables, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Assist physicians in performing procedures, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Provide routine and emergency patient care, including monitoring patient conditions and responding to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to maintain and improve lab standards.
Requirements
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a strong understanding of cardiovascular techniques and technology.
