- Administer urgent medical treatments and interventions according to established protocols, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate updates, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
- Provide patient and family education, offering emotional support and guidance during emergency situations.
- Assist with critical procedures such as resuscitation and trauma stabilization as required, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records, maintaining the highest standards of record-keeping and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
- 1 Year of ED experience in an acute hospital setting.
