At Centra Healthcare Allied, we are seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Barco, North Carolina.

About the Role
  • This is a 13-week contract assignment at a prestigious Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC).
  • The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis, averaging 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts will be 8 hours per day, with days off as needed.

We offer competitive pay rates and an attractive tax-free stipend package. Based on an 8-hour shift schedule, this translates to a salary of $______ per year, or approximately $_____ per hour, before taxes and benefits.

About the Position

The primary role of the Travel Physical Therapist will be to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans, working under the supervision of physicians and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care through rehabilitation services tailored to each individual's requirements.
  • Evaluating patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.
  • Developing and administering treatment programs with realistic goals determined by patients' capacity and tolerance.
  • Documenting patients' progress and communicating with family members about physical therapy methods and expectations.

To succeed in this position, you must have strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
