We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret provider orders and prescriptions, compounding and dispensing medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards.
- Consult with patients and others as required regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Provide drug information to patients, healthcare workers, and others as necessary.
- Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff, directing workflow and ensuring the completion of duties.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in the area of practice.
- 1 year of hospital experience is strongly preferred.
- PGY-1 or BCPS is preferred.
- May be required to be on-call in certain situations.
- Bachelor's Science or Pharm D is required.
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice is required.
- ACLS is preferred.
Sedentary work, involving prolonged periods of sitting and exerting up to 10lbs of force occasionally.
