Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Provide support to the cook in the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Follow all Federal, State, and local long-term care regulations and dietary department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Stock and replenish food and supplies as needed, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Participate in in-service educational programs to stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition and food service trends.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
