About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Permanent Associate Attorney to become a vital member of our legal team. The ideal candidate will focus on commercial litigation, bringing their expertise to a collaborative environment.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a qualified attorney to leverage their skills in a stimulating and fulfilling setting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all facets of commercial litigation, which encompasses drafting legal documents, overseeing discovery processes, preparing motions, and coordinating trial preparations.
- Representing clients in judicial settings or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to advocate for clients or pursue defendants in civil or criminal cases.
- Negotiating settlements in civil disputes to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analyzing various legal sources, including statutes and legal precedents, to prepare essential legal documents such as briefs and pleadings.
- Providing legal counsel to clients regarding business transactions, liability issues, and the advisability of pursuing or defending legal actions.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Associate Attorney role should possess:
- A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- A proven history of courtroom success, including trial experience.
- Outstanding research, writing, and communication abilities.
