About the Role

Canton Emergency Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, incorporating patient-family centered care principles.
  • Partner with patients and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient education and learning in the health record.
Requirements
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire/transfer.
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer. TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer. ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer.
