Senior Clerk

The Senior Clerk position at Rockwall County, Texas, is responsible for assisting prosecutors in preparing and processing cases. This involves preparing paperwork, retrieving files, preparing subpoenas, and requesting documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manipulate complex data sets, analyze results, combine data accurately and consistently, and document changes and findings.
• Correct mismatched personal identifying information in the County's case management system.
• Act as the primary support contact for Party ID issues and reporting County-wide.
• Respond to requests to correct information in the County's case management system.
• Report prosecutor actions on cases involving criminal defendants to the criminal justice information system (CJIS).
• Perform other duties as assigned or defined.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable and proficient in use of Microsoft Office systems.
• Ability to answer phones professionally.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions:

The position is located in a fast-paced and high-volume office environment with little or no exposure to environmental conditions. Health and safety hazards are minimal. No protective equipment is required. Fine dexterity, sitting, hearing, talking, and vision are constantly required. Walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling are frequently required. Bending and standing are occasionally required.
