About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team of experts in building management systems (BMS). As a HVAC Controls Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics.
  • Keep management and stakeholders informed of job progress and issues.
  • Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
  • Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  • Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of BMS experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • Able to use hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Low voltage/120 volt wiring skills preferred.
