About the Mammography Technologist Role

Healthcare Support Permanent Placement is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team.

This is a full-time, varied shift position that requires a strong background in radiologic technology and mammography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality mammography exams on patients, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including exam documentation, patient history, and pertinent clinical data.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review imaging results and assist in patient care decisions.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA Council of Education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of pertinent experience.
  • Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Registered as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT).
  • Registered as a Radiography Technologist (ARRT).
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Compensation: $31+ - $43+ /hr (depending on experience and tenure).
