Position Overview- Specialty: CT Imaging Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy.
- Position patients effectively for scans, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective measures.
- Adjust equipment settings and monitor both the equipment and patients throughout procedures.
- Assist radiologists during imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast agents.
- Evaluate the quality of CT images and ensure proper sequencing and labeling.
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and supplies used.
- Promote a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to national patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a healthcare environment as a CT Imaging Specialist.
- Current ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
- Licensure may be necessary in various states.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
