Job Overview

The role of the Bartender at Boomers Park involves delivering exceptional service to Guests by providing a welcoming and attentive drinking experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a pleasant atmosphere by serving beverages while keeping the bar area clean and organized.
  • Pay attention to the presentation and details of each drink order.
  • Prepare and manage ingredients in accordance with established recipes.
  • Follow proper procedures for alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety, ensuring all beverage items are appropriately dated and labeled.
  • Manage daily inventory for the bar and assist with supply orders and deliveries.
  • Stay informed about current specials and promotions offered at the venue.
  • Complete cleaning tasks as per the daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing duties as required.
  • Assist in training new team members in their roles.
  • Address Guest concerns effectively, offering solutions or escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in beverage service.
  • Proficient in operating standard beverage service equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong focus on Guest service and satisfaction.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and software.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling purposes.
  • Must be able to obtain TIPS certification.

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Capability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and see.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work in a high-noise environment with potential flashing lights.
