Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and ensuring accurate medication dispensing.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and inventory levels.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
