About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Packing Operator to join our production team at Nestle Purina PetCare Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, assemble, fabricate, or repair crates, boxes, cartons, and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers.
  • Safely operate production and processing equipment.
  • Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
  • Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
  • Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using lockout procedures, as prescribed.
  • Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to effectively perform job requirements.
  • Occasionally work at high heights within the plant to fulfill job responsibilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.
